Purdue University set out to showcase its academic excellence, vibrant campus life, and deep-rooted pride, but in a way that would stand apart from the predictable tone of higher education marketing. The challenge was to communicate ambition and rigor while still inspiring prospective students to see themselves within the Purdue experience.
Madhouse flipped a familiar classroom moment on its head, reimagining “daydreaming” not as a distraction, but as the starting point for possibility. Through a professor’s narration, the film encourages students to think beyond the present moment, offering glimpses of their imagined futures. By celebrating curiosity and ambition, the story connects Purdue’s academic foundation to the dreams it helps unlock, positioning the university as a place where big ideas don’t just exist, but take shape.
