Rahul Shivakumar

Rahul is a self-taught 3D Motion Designer from New York, holding a B.S. degree in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta. Prior to joining Madhouse, he interned at Agency Habitat in Texas. As a generalist, his work focuses on product visualization and motion graphics, with strong influences from Eastern culture. Rahul stays on top of current trends in the motion design space and enjoys learning from artists around the world. He occasionally listens to podcasts from creatives to improve his design language and deepen his understanding of why design matters. He is always pushing himself to become a better artist, whether it be in modeling, lighting, texturing, or animation. In his free time, he works on personal projects to refine his skills and create a nostalgic “feel” that people can resonate with. Creating moments that pull people out of reality, even briefly, is what makes storytelling and design meaningful to him
